Sitting out enjoying my coffee I found this , which I believe is a Harlequin Ladybird . She was exploring one of my garden solar lights !!
Still in much pain with my back and sciatica -- but slightly more mobile today after resting and taking all kinds of painkilling potions !! Hope I can go tomorrow for a week to Llandudno , in N.Wales - I can rest there and go out and about on my mobility scooter . Fortunately I always book the ground floor holiday apartment ,near the seafront and close to all amenities . I am so looking forward to visit my beloved Wales again !
Have you investigated the benefits of numeric? There are lots of recipes. They say its better than panadol etc. This is a great photo - don't you think he might be a "Manbird?
Can I come with you? I love N Wales and Snowdonia. Have been to Llandudno - a very beautiful place. Btw, I was going to forget, this is a very nice close-up shot.

@wendyfrost Thanks so much Wendy for your thoughtful good wishes --I am so looking forward to the break -- been rather naughty as yesterday and today I have upped my steroids -in the hope for some relief I do not know what the Rheumatologist will say later in the month he is usually very understanding !! -- but it is my body that's suffering after all !

I think this is the 'baddy' in the ladybird world isn't it Beryl? He does look rather a bully & big with it too! Good for you, upping your steroids so you can have a less painful week sounds eminently sensible to me, I'm sure your doctor won't object so you can have a pain free week hopefully! You will be excited as I am about my trip to Ireland! Have a wonderful time & the forecast is good so even better! May you come back with a little Welsh blessings on you!

I shall not post anything while away -- no wi-fi in the apartment so shall have a mini break !! And yes Pat this harlequin is a foreigner and a baddie -- but I did not have the heart to destroy it !!
@beryl Hope the extra steroids work well and you have an easier time and able to get about more. I think they are marvellous wish I could go back on them. Have a great time.
