My little fibre optics tree -- love this as it gently sparkles in the living room ! It is doing so well as it was bought in the mid 1980s when they first came popular and is out every Christmas since then !
Lovely, we had a fiber optics lamp when we first got married in the 70s, I used to love watching the colour change and was sad when it did finally die on us.
Lovely, I have a 1980's one very similar to this which my daughters insist that I put out every year ......... as it reminds them from when they were little !!!
Just the right size for your living room Beryl. Christmassy without taking up too much space! We have our artificial tree in the hall, it usually lives in our sitting room & a fresh one in the dining room. Can I be bothered to go to all the trouble to get another when wev'e had Christmas already! Ha ha!
@happypat I love a Christmas Tree -- but they are hard work to put up and decorat and take so much room in an ordinary house - so now I have made things easier with just my fibre optics with the addition of a string of beads and the lighted cherry tree in the conservatory with a few baubles hanging on it ! I can't blame you for not being bothered !! I am being more selective in my decorations as I grow older !
@brennieb Yes , this clock has been in the family since the early/mid 1800s when my grandmother bought it in a local house auction when their chapel minister moved from the village to another ministerial post and selling some of his house items before moving ! I love to hear its ticking but "fortunately" it no longer chimes !!
