A tough little soldier that keeps on growing year after year . I have noticed that this one has a flower bud starting to grow , but I think the beauty of this succulent is in its variegated fleshy leaves . We have always had a plant of this aloe in the house and as a child I remember we called it "mochyn " in Welsh ( "Pig") I do not know whether it was called "mochyn" by other Welsh people or was it an invention of my grandmother ! When a child at home it never occurred to me to query the name - and now it is too late !!!!!
@busylady@lavenderhouse I think perhaps the mother-in-law plant also comes from the same aloe family , but the structure / formation is a little different with longer leaves all from the base ! Thanks for your interest !
