A very rough day with high winds . , so these cyclamen are in the conservatory . I bought these plants in 2015 and they flowered did well last winter. After a rest, and replanting they have been in flower again since around October 2016 and still going strong .
I am still struggling with sinusitis and other symptoms , but still unable to get an appointment with the GP as the telephone line is engaged each morning until all app.are filled . Feeling very cross at the system ! -- sorry about the rant !!
I did not realize you could keep cyclamen on. I have always tossed them once they finished blooming. I will definitely try to keep them going from now on.
Lovely colours and flowers to brighten the day. The wind is frightening today and my fence has gone hope its not the roof next. Hope you will soon get your appointment Beryl it is a bad system we had that trouble at our doctors but now they have queue waiting which is much better.
Sorry to hear about your sinuses, if it's any help we have the same system at our surgery where you ring from 8am for an appointment. I find what works every time for me is, start ringing at 8am, if it says it's engaged hang up and redial immediately and keep doing it until you get through. I find I get through after about 15-20 consecutives redials. I get in on the day I ring!
@craftymeg Bless you Margaret -- I have been trying daily from 8.30 ,the time they open and redial continually , sometimes get through , put on hold ,then cut off again ,Did this repeatedly 7 times one morning before getting through and was told no apps available try the following day !! BUT found out you can register for on line bookings today and can book from 6.00 the previous day for a phone consultation -- have done this and have a phone consultation tomorrow am !! phew !! what a palaver !!!!
Nice shot. What a strange system for doctor appointments. My sister has the same problem. She even had to drive down to the surgery before 8 am one day to make an appointment because she couldn't get through on the phone.
