- - - - ooh so I wish ,instead of been housebound with this gammy leg !! -- though I must not complain as the knee is slowly getting better , less continuous pain and more movement (with the exercises ) -- It pays to persevere !! At the moment being able to drive again seems to be so far away -- but I am sure I will get there all of a sudden -- I haven't had a date to see the consultant yet , so I have to be patient !! ( Sorry about the moan , but its good at times to get it off ones chest ,so to speak )

Brilliant capture Beryl and love your title.
Sorry to hear you are having pain with your knee. Still quite early days. My husband has still not fully recovered from his dislocated shoulder, now over 3 months. He will have to have some surgery eventually.
What a great way to travel coming down would be a little scary though. I hope your knee will soon be recovered enough for you to get back doing what you love Beryl.
Sorry to hear you don't think healing is moving as quickly as you would like, but I am sure things will pick up soon. It is still quite recent since your surgery and things will get better each day.
Lovely photo Beryl , I've always wanted a balloon ride but my clunky joints wouldn't take the strain if it landed heavy.
I quite understand your frustration, same here, I've just started to drive after 18 weeks but I know it was around the 8 week mark for my knees, just hang on in there, soon be wondering were the time went!!
@annied Thanks Annie , I just had to have a moan -- The surgeon did say I would hate him for about 6-7 weeks !! so I have a couple of weeks to go yet !! Patience !!!!!!!

Moaning sometimes helps a little, so feel free to go ahead ;-)
(Not sure whether this is correct English...)

Wish I could do more than only feels sorry for you. Be brave .
Hope you're back to normal as soon as possible!
Just hang in there and you'll be driving in no time at all. Thinking of you.
