Welsh slate by beryl

Welsh slate

Slate "slabs" were traditionally used as flooring in Welsh homes and this is a modern slant on this in the information centre in Bettws-y-coed
I wasn't aware of this information centre when I spent 3 days in Bettws-y-Coed. Beautiful shot.

Interesting image with a lot to see -- I like the major focal area, but fascinating to see its context.

Anybody would be very happy to have that piece of slate in their house, I certainly would! Very dramatic but a real eye catcher!
