St David is the Patriot Saint of Wales and we ( the Welsh ) celebrate this day . The Daffodil symbolises St David's Day . these two little daffs looked so lovely in the garden until the last 24 hours when the snow just covered everything up as the "Beast from the East " collides with "Storm Emma "
This fits in for 2 of the March.challenges - green for the Rainbow Challenge and the Daffodil for words for March !
Everything in my garden is rapidly disappearing under a layer of snow. I can cope with that but the cold is something else!! Lovely spring picture Beryl
I just read about St David’s Day, what a great, tradition-filled day it is! I’m sure you have a “Lovespoon”, what a treasure that must be. These daffodils are lovely, you’ve had a lot of snow, to cover them completely! Thank you for introducing St David’s Day to me, the 365 community always provides world-wide learning experiences!
