A dull and much cooler day here today now that I have booked a week away in a fortnight . . It has been a productive two days I have found a painter and decorator and will do my bedroom in about 3-4 weeks , Telephoned a gardener who will gravel a small section of my garden which had been my veg plot and can no longer do it ! He will quote me a price and do the work in about a month's time - so its all systems go !!
I love horse chestnut flowers especially the pink ones. When I was small I always called them candles. You have a busy few weeks Beryl but a holiday is always good to look foward to.
I love red chestnut trees. In the main street of a nearby village red chestnuts grow on both sides of the street. Really beautiful. Does your week away bring you to Wales again?
