A dull day with heavy showers ,I managed to dodge the raindrops to pop out to the garden to take a few shots of my hebes ! I have many Hebe bushes in the garden many started from cuttings . I love them as they are hardy , evergreen , always provide a long period of flowers .work free as they do not need but an occasional trimming and taking new cuttings Ideal in the garden as you grow older and do not feel so active in the garden ! Now its a heavy downpour outside with a rumble of thunder in the distance ! -- oh well the garden needed a good soaking !
No rain here Beryl. I had a Hebe in my last garden years ago & I agree they are no bother & lots of varieties. I might get one or two if we ever get to a new garden.
Around here those of us who garden speak with the utmost respect about English gardens. You must have one of them. I’m glad you are able to enjoy it and share your different views. I am definitely going to have to see if this plant will grow in our climate.
