Starling mum and "little stars" !!

I had a delightful few minutes watching this scene on the back lawn -- I think mum was trying to teach the chicks to to search for food ( worms ) in the grass - Such fun watching mum moving from spot to spot with the little ones scurrying along after her , and then with beaks open whenever she got up for air !!

Wow poor mum, she has her hands full feeding this many! I have only ever seen a mum bird feeding one so this is quite a sight! Babies are nearly as big as mum!
