Popped out this afternoon in the hope of finding Autumnal colours in the countryside as we approach November , but to no avail ! Most of the trees and bushes are still quite green , The Virginia creeper which usually covers the Old Hotel in Atcham had shed its leaves - due to the stormy weather in the last few days ! As you can see the Severn is flowing rather fast and on the verge of bursting its banks due to all the rain coming down from the Welsh hills . The sheep look as if they have been recently sheared and all nice and clean . NB. best viewed on black !
A nice peaceful pastoral scene. Our trees have turned suddenly but there are still some green ones yet to start.
Hope they manage to sort your shoulder out for you Beryl. It must be soul destroying to know you might have to start again. They did warn me that sometimes it happens amongst all the other things they told me. I’m just keeping everything crossed. It happened with my first hip replacement when the cement became loose I had to have a revision 8 years later through no fault of my own. Luckily the second is a success.
A lovely pastoral scene (as others have mentioned) with the sheep grazing by the river. Peaceful, except for the threat of the river bursting its banks. This gives your photo an element of drama, I think, Beryl. Fav
