Going for my 4th covid jab this morning - fingers crossed it will be plain sailing !
@ludwigsdiana I am not sure but in the UK ,all those over 75 and those with depressed immune systems are invited to have the 4th "booster " jab at the moment !

Fav! @ludwigsdiana@wendyfrost@happypat Canada is starting 4th doses, with age of eligibility varying among the provinces, but immuno-compromised folks have been eligible for a few months now. Good to know about Moderna. I actively sought it out for my third shot, as the half-dose Moderna (50 mcg) is still a higher dose than the full-dose Pfizer (30 mcg) (and those over 70 (like my partner) could get a full-dose of Moderna (100 mcg). Sorry to hijack your comment page, Beryl, but I just wanted to pass this on in case it's useful info for anyone.

That’s interesting, thank you for the info. Statistics there I never knew of! We had our fourth jab last Friday . Moderna for me after two Astrazenica & one Phizer. My husband had Moderna after three Phizer good to mix them up apparently!
@beryl@happypat I could bore you silly about this topic. I follow a number of national and international epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists, etc. on Twitter. This is how I learned this info. It's not widely known, unfortunately. And, yes, it's good to mix them up. One of the people I follow actually posted a chart showing the different combos and how they compared in efficacy, but I'll stop here :)
