I had transplanted some self setters in August , and now I am reaping the results .as I have these delightful splash of colour in the garden , Some have flowered as single flower , while others are a double flower !
A dull , damp and quite a cold day¬
Beautiful. They always remind me of my Auntie Hetty. The only flowers she ever grew in her garden were marigolds. No idea why but she was always a bit on the eccentric side, ha ha.
Just beautiful. I love the bright colour and I also like the slightly battered look of the petals. It seems to me this is a perfect example of wabi sabi, beauty in the imperfection and impermanence.
You can't pass each other. There are locks on both sides. But if you look carefully you will see on the right, just behind the first bush, a dam that the farmer uses to access the land. He can stand there.
