I have cropped ! and altered all kinds of exposures etc ( lost count ) until in my mind;s eye it was more pleasing !! what do you all think ?

I think sometimes of have to trust your eye and I think you just instinctively know when the colours/exposure are right. This is beautifully presented. What edit programme do you use?

@lucypics Thank you Lucy I am afraid I tend to go by eye & that goes to my water colour paintings as well !! I use 2 editing progs -a) be funky photo editor on-line editing , and also now b) Pic monkey . They are both very similar to use & similar in what they will do !! Neither too complicated to use !!

Beryl I have checked out both your shots and you have been given very good advice! This cropped version is much better! Lovely capture and now" the ducks are centre stage with no distractions from the very light area! Lovely processing!

Love it!! I saw some geese today that looked a lot like these but they were all white with the orange beaks and blue eyes! They are amazing!!
