This seaside town is on the Isle of Anglesey off the mainland Wales and joined by two bridges -- the Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge There is quite a few historic landmarks and buildings in and around Beaumaris -it has a castle and a pier / jetty . This day was very windy but mild with intermediate blue skies and dark stormy clouds And although there were sea trips around Penmon point to see the birdlife and seals we opted on keeping our feet firmly on the terra firma !!!!!!
