Day 223 - We went for lunch at the Malta Inn (a Beefeater Pub) where we sat looking out over the River Medway, followed by a walk along the River. The pictures show the River Medway at Allington where there is a weir which is a listed 1930's building and Allington Lock. The area is in the middle of a £2.5million improve of facilities for river users and to deliver safer navigation along the Upper Medway Navigation.
