This Nativity scene was given to us by my mom the first Christmas after we were married and I just love it! So, it is 52years old! The wax tree candles (never burned) I have also had a fairly long time. They usually are scattered among my lighted houses inside the oval of our miniature train tracks. Didn't do that this year, so thought they would provide a nice backdrop for the cream-colored candle which has scenes from the Nativity story on each side. It is also quite old (maybe 50 years?), made in Germany, and will never be lit while I am alive. lol I think these items are my favorite of all the other Christmas decorations we have accumulated over the years.
