I was surprised and pleased that this turned out so well, as I took it from a bigger distance than I normally would attempt. So, obviously, I have cropped it. There is so much variety in hummingbirds! Need to educate myself of what the ones we see regularly are...

The only kind I'm familiar with is the "Ruby-throated" but I know there's also a breed called Anna's that's more out your way and not around here. Good shot!

While I'm messaging you here I am wondering if you still have my email address from about two years ago? I had responded to a message from you then and never heard anything back from you.
