Love the coloring on this young horse! Have loved horses since I was a little girl and rarely came into actual contact with one except when visiting my Colorado grandparents. But, I did collect little china horse models, checked out books about horses and tack from the library, and made simple drawings of such. LOL Sadly, my sis (now in Heaven), who was even more "horse crazy" than I, never had the joy of owning a horse herself, while my husband and I had several when we moved to Montana many years back.
