Photograph your ABC's K is for Korean Jeongja

This Jeongja is a Korean Pavilion located on the grounds of Government House in Edmonton. tradtionally a Jeongja is built where humans and nature come together. It is built of wood and stone and uses traditional joinery methods to build it.They are usually situated in such a way as to take in the surrounding landscape.
That's an interesting structure to find in the middle of Edmonton. Was it a gift from Korea? It's very pretty and I'm sure the view of the grounds from it must be very nice.

Very pretty. I have never seen the Government House in Edmonton. Looks like the grass is very lush. It must be from all the rain.

and no visible trash cans and those pesky blue recycling bins. not that i don't like them, only when they spoil your photograph. well, your people must be so disciplined. in here there's a waste can every ten feet or so.

i love the contrast of the pavillion's colour and texture against the very lush greenery; looks so peaceful in there. these are the types of photos that i mark 'fav'. very nice!

This is very beautiful! The lawn in front of it is so green, too. It looks very serene! Can you step inside it, or is it meant to be viewed from the lawn (or, maybe the point from which I'm looking at it via the picture, a little further away).
July 2nd, 2011
@kchuk You can step inside. Many people will go inside and have their picture taken from there
