The First Unofficial Day of Winter

Woke up to snow on the ground this morning. So what did we do. Got all dressed up and went downtown. The city put on an Olde Time Fair on the Square today. They had games for the children, a couple of old police vehicles and an old fire engine.
In the centre of the square they had some fires going so people could roast marshmellows. I hadn't done this in so long. It was fun and I got mine just nice and toasty. A lot of fun and then we went to the farmer's market followed up with something hot to drink. What a great day
Now if only the rest of winter could be this much fun. And Melody took this shot after eating her marshmellow

One morning we'll wake up and there is a lot of snow..sofar we just had some flurries. so lets postpone it for a while yet. nice in your case to go to the town square and have a good time outdoors.

I love winter in the city, loads of things happening in Manchester, but I never saw a communal marshmallow bake off, superb!!
