Went walking again today through Victoria Park and Golf Course. I spotted some Canada Geese. So I found a place where I could get a shot of them when I also noticed a rabbit near by. So I took a few shots but this is the only one that I was able to capture both the geese and the rabbit in it.
I was throiugh this area on Saturday afternoon and the grass was completely covered in snow. What a difference a couple of days of sunshine can make
Great capture! Love the Canadian Geese. They used to congregate in a field near our train route. I would see them every morning. Recently they filled the field with BUILDINGS! So... no more geese.
good one, brian. the medley of the branches intrigues me quite so. i'd have preferred that you included the whole trees, but i suppose you take whatever you can under the circumstances. those birds and rabbits they move so fast.
Neat capture! I saw two large flocks of geese, flying north, this afternoon. Winter is over, spring is here, which will be quickly followed by summer, so they are probably headed for a cooler climate.
@summerfield Well the golf course at this point of the season does not want anyone on the grass. So I went as far as the pavement went. I was tempted to go out a little futher but was afraid of getting caught so this is what I ended up with
What a great capture of these geese and this bunny. I know how it goes as you wish they were closer together but so nice to include both in this beautiful place.
I'm glad the weather is warming up for you! My children were busy trying to make friends with some Canadian geese this afternoon. The geese noticed they had nothing with them to eat so weren't interested!
Nice capture. The geese reminded me of Boise, Idaho, where my son used to live. I wondered how far Boise is from Edmonton, so I Google-mapped it--almost 1,000 miles!
@bdb3471 You QUACK me up!
