Took this when I was out walking down by the river. The rive here in Edmonton never completely froze up this year and in spots almost all of the snow and ice is gone.
I could not get right down to the river from where I was standing but I like taking shots through the barren trees and soon all the ice will be gone and these trees will be green
Great shot! Everything here is coming back lush and green after all the rains we have been getting. Such a contrast from all the heat and drought last spring/summer/fall. Not much of a cold winter here either.Looking forward to seeing you post shots through the seasons on the river.
@claireuk Was not to bad on this day. Of course later all I would see would be the leaves of the trees it will be hard to see the river but I think I will do the same shot in a couple of months
