Melody comes from a small family. It is just the four of the them. So growing up and continuing even to this day they are a very close knit family. With her brother living in Cranbrook, BC they get to see each other only once or twice a year. So this weekend has been vey enjoyable for them as they are together for a few days.
So after breakfast yesterday we went for a walk in the ravine near her Mom and Dad's place. It was a perfect day for it and I know they were having a wonderful time.
Later Mel and I attended a wedding of some friends of ours and then back to her parents for a quick visit before calling it a night
they are a smiling family, aren't they? they look, to me, like very engaging and pleasant people. aren't you lucky. what about your family, brian, when do we get to meet them? very nice shot.

It's hard when families are all spread out and it takes a lot of effort to remain close, so I'm glad to see that Melody's family really makes the best of it. Nice shot!
