dudley menzies bridge

Well today I almost did not post anything as I am beginning to feel very uninspired lately. Thankfully tomorrow is a brand new day. This is the Dudley Menzies Bridge that serves a couple of purposes. this is the the pdedestrian and bicycle portion of it. The upper part which you cannot see allows the train for the LRT to cross the river. It runs from the Legislative Grounds on the northside to the University of Alberta Campus on the southside.
Have a great week everyone
Great POV. It draws the eye into the photo. The bridge almost seems to go into infinity. Great job.

fantastic symmetry...great patterns too

My first thought was, wow, how does a car fit through there. Then I read your comment and was amazed that pedestrians walk through this while trains travel overhead. That's kind of wild, if you think about it. I've been where you are in the inspiration department so many times, so I know what you are going through. Take heart. Tomorrow is another day.

Wow, what a great shot, Brian. I love the color and it seems to go on forever. Nicely done. I know what you mean though lack of time and being at home so much keeps me uninspired a lot. I love your photos and have not commented much recently as I have run out of time a lot. Hang in there.

Sometimes our lack of inspiration can produce a good shot. Nice perspective, and very interesting concept on the bridge serving 2 purposes. Some good engineering involved in designing this bridge.
