Today was a very long and busy day. I left home early and work was very busy and then I had to make my way to West Edmonton Mall after work to meet Melody. Did I mention that it was a very long day.
So made it home around 8:00 pm and after getting settled and watching a little bit of TV I can now relax and check all of your wonderful shots. This one I took on my walk around downtown. I was looking at the river and enjoyed watching the chunks of snow and ice flowing down the river. Yes spring has finally made it here. Now for the trees to start to bloom and the flowers to come out.
Have a great weekend everyone
Wave goodbye to those chunks of snow! You definately need some green in this scene:-) I do like this scene though, the trees, bridge and city buildings all in one shot.
@moreyoulessme Thanks Jerri. This view is actually looking over at the southside of the river. Our downtown skyline is not seen in this picture but this makes me think I need to make my way over to the southside and take a shot looking at the downtown skyline
@bkbinthecity We were there in October for your Thanksgiving. Two families have been down so far this year, and we have two major shorter trips already planned for this year. So, no Alberta in '13. Hopefully, next year..... probably summer. My entire family on mother's side is there, so we try to go at least every other year, if not every year..
@deniseinindy Glad you enjoyed this one. I will have to take another shot showing the skyline on the northside of the river as that has the most buildings
@eudora i am too. However, we had a little glich this morning as we woke up to some snow. Fortunately the warm weather is coming back so it will most likely be gone by tomorrow
