The Master Suite by bkbinthecity

The Master Suite

So follow me up the stairs to the second floor. When Government House was used as a residence the second floor contained all of the bedrooms.
This room was the master suite. Today it is a meeting room. The table you see is so large that it had to be brought into the room in seperate pieces and assembled in the room.
You may also notice a trophy in the back of the room. That is the Bulyea Cup which was donated by George H V Bulyea and his wife. They were the first to serve as Lt Governor in Alberta. They enjoyed music so much that this cup was awarded to the top choir performing in a music festival organized by the couple.
Great looking room and interesting information. I love all the matching colors.
