Under Repair

Edmonton's best known landmark would definitely be the Provincial Legislative Building. Depending on where you are located the dome is something you can see from even a great distance away.
The building and the grounds are one of my favorite spots to spend time walking and taking pictures. However for the past few months they have been doing repairs to the dome and as you can see it is not the best item for pictures at the moment. I am hopping that they will soon be done so that everyone can once again enjoy this beautiful landmark
The one on the left was taken last year. The one on the right was taken today
Great capture and look forward to seeing the completed restoration.

I suppose it is a good thing that they are keeping the building up to scratch. It definitely looks a great landmark.

That's so interesting- it looks like they wrapped it in shrink wrap!! I think people visiting the Washington Monument may feel the same way. It too is undergoing a make-over right now and is ensconced in scaffolding. I'm told that it looks better at night since they hooked up some decorative lighting in the scaffold. Good collage for comparison.
