Music is in the Air....

or in this case it is on the side of a wall. On my way to work this morning I spotted this mural on the side of a building. Located on what is known as the Avenue of Nations in Central Edmonton, an area not exactly known as one of the nicer spots in town. I love the fact that here in Edmonton, some of these rather questionable neighborhoods are taking matters in their own hands so to speak and doing what they can to improve the area that they call home. In this particular case I love the choice of a subject along with the nice bright colours

That's really nice. I think when neighborhoods and people come up with their own way to improve things it stands to make a greater impact on the whole community. I hope they continue to do these murals.
