A trip down memory lane

Today's word was pencil and whenever I hear that word I always think of this picture. This is my older sister Sharon and myself sitting on a rather large pencil. It was taken on a trip we took with our parents to California in 1967. This was at Universal Studios. Boy how things have changed.

I would have guessed Universal Studios, but you being in Canada, I wondered if it was something there. (Edmonton Mall, but it wasn't built yet!!!) Great memory shot. Yes, I remember Universal about that era.... We both grew up in the LA metropolitan area.
