A Trip To The Zoo.....Black and White

Not much to say about this one. Although I did learn that a Zebra will use ear movements to signal danger to another Zebra
This is a beautiful capture of magnificent animal! I love the way animals communicate with each other.

Just a matter of interest there are three types of Zebra namely Plains Zebra also called Burchells and then the Grevy's Zebra and then the Mountain Zebra. The Burchells has wide stripes all the way down and the Grevy's has thin stripes but they do not go down to the belly. The Mountain Zebra has thick stripes but they also do not go all the way to the belly. There was also the Quagga but became extinct in the 19th centuary but there is a program called the Quagga Project which is to reproduce this species and this is happening in Stellenbosch in Cape Town.

Aren't they just beautiful! I'd have taken his photo, too!

PS...the organist I met two weeks ago and whose video you liked... We're collaborating on a Christmas DVD of him at the organ and piano for his children! I can't believe how wonderful it is to listen to him and tape his music! I'll post one of the clips over the next couple weeks and let you and Rick know since you both seemed to like the music!
