A Trip To The Zoo......A Glimpse Down Under

I do not think I have ever seen a wallaby. The Zoo had a few Red-Necked Wallby hopping around this area. It was fun watching them

They looked so cooped up in that cage. We just spent a weekend in the aussie outback and saw a lot of our native wildlife. They need a lot of space for the speeds they are capable of. Great shot though.

I think our daughter-in-law's parents have these around their farm. I believe you have to be a bit careful with them.

Yah, but we only get to Edmonton about once a year and when we do get there we are never there long enough to go to the zoo. A couple years ago we did make it there though, but I was very disappointed :(

They look cute- but I don't know how friendly they are! I've learned on this site that although kangaroos look cute, they are not friendly, so I'm guessing the same might be true with these guys. Nice shot though!
