Well today I finally went back to work after being off for six days. Picked Melody up at the mall and then after a quick stop we made our way home. Mel has done such a great job taking pictures the last few days but today she had not taken any so I took her phone as we were heading in the back door of our apartment building and took this quick shot. So there is my best friend and the one who has been there for me these last few days while I have been sick.

Yep, she's been good to you! A keeper!!! And I'd say it's cold and snowy up that way these days. Mel looks like she's trying to keep warm in your weather! Glad you are feeling better too.
All that snow already......so early but it does look pretty as is Melody too!! Glad to hear you are getting better.......you need someone close when you are ill!
What a wonderful shot of Melody. You two are such a sweet couple. I am glad you are going better and she was there for you. I have a raging sore throat but still went out to the park today. This is a gift from my son who got it at work. He is working with it and sleeping a lot once home. Welcome to the cold weather. He got the flu shot and I did not.
@bkbinthecity Take it slow and easy. So you had about the same thing? I just got it yesterday morning and he got it before me from work. Gargling with warm salt water, sucking on throat lozenges, water and tea and eating as I feel like it. Sounds familiar? Feel better and hope you continue to get better.
