A Walk in the Park..The Littlest Hobo

So as we were walking along the promenade we saw a couple coming towards us with their dog. I was getting ready to take a picture of the river with the Edmonton Queen docked so I thought why not wait for the dog to come in view. Later as I was looking at this shot it reminded me of an old TV show The Littlest Hobo which was all about a German Shepard dog that would befriend someone and help them out of difficulties they were in.

Great to see this river boat! I have heard of this tv show but never watched it. Wish I had now!

The German Shepherd that was famous here was Rin Tin Tin. And of course we had Lassie but she was a Collie. Nice shot- the river boat looks like it would be a fun place to visit.

@sailingmusic We do have certain parks where dogs can be off leash as long as the owner is nearby. The river is actually a little higher than normal
