I have to say a big thank you to my wife for being so patient with me when it comes to taking pictures. Last night we had dropped off a couple we had gone out for dinner with and on the way home I decided to go through the downtown area.
I made a sudden stop to take some pictures from a park on the south side of the river to take some skyline shots. It is in moments like this I wish I had a tripod with me. However, I am still happy with this one. So even though Melody was tired she sat and waited for me to get in some shots. She is the best.
Have a great week everyone
It's actually very pretty with the soft focus. I haven't met her in person, but I can tell she is a sweetheart! Buy her some flowers or her favorite beverage at Starbucks for this one!
Nice shot, Brian. I have a tiny portable tripod with flexible legs that goes wherever I go just in case it's needed. If I accidentally leave it in the car, I use whatever's handy (railing, bench back, etc). Looks good in b&w
Like you I have a very patient and supportive other half who always encourages me and is happy to stop for me to get a photo op! We are lucky I think. Great night shot.
Great shot of this city by night.
