City Skyline by bkbinthecity

City Skyline

I have to say a big thank you to my wife for being so patient with me when it comes to taking pictures. Last night we had dropped off a couple we had gone out for dinner with and on the way home I decided to go through the downtown area.
I made a sudden stop to take some pictures from a park on the south side of the river to take some skyline shots. It is in moments like this I wish I had a tripod with me. However, I am still happy with this one. So even though Melody was tired she sat and waited for me to get in some shots. She is the best.
Have a great week everyone
Lovely! What would we do without our patient spouses?!

Splendid night scene.

Very nice shot. I know this tripod feeling. I found that a Gorillapod may help, it is a good compromise between size and stability.

well you found a good composition spot and the b&w is perfect . I would go back one day with your tripod .

Nice shot, Brian. I have a tiny portable tripod with flexible legs that goes wherever I go just in case it's needed. If I accidentally leave it in the car, I use whatever's handy (railing, bench back, etc). Looks good in b&w
August 19th, 2014
Like you I have a very patient and supportive other half who always encourages me and is happy to stop for me to get a photo op! We are lucky I think. Great night shot.

To be on 365 you have to have a supportive partner. I guess we`re lucky. fabulous night shot of the skyline with all its light.

Often we go together on an afternoon photo safari. She have already a puzzle book and pencil stored in the car.
