So this is another building that will be going up. This is the beginnings of what will eventually be the location of a new office tower. I love how small the equipment looks. Behind this you can see the beginnings of what will be part of the new downtown arena

Great shot! I love watching construction. Those big pieces of equipment are dwarfed by the size of that hole in the ground. I love all the pops of red/orange.

@aglennc The arena will be the new home for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League. It will also be used for concerts and other special events

@bkbinthecity I should have thought about the Oilers. Most of my family are rabid Flames enthusiasts. They have an ongoing "discussion" with the few who live n the Edmonton/Sherwood Park/Wetaskiwin areas who cheer for the Oilers. (We stay out of it!)
