Play Ball

Well the baseball season is under way so I thought I would share this photo of one of a few murals on the old United Cycle Building. It is a part of a Vintage Canada Series.
Baseball has been played in Edmonton for many years. At one point we had a team in the Pacific Coast League and over the years we were the farm club for the Chicago White Sox, California Angels and the Florida Marlins,
So this one is for all you baseball fans young and old from Little League to Major League Baseball

cool mural ~ I do like baseball. Probably because we used to play in the neighborhood when growing up. I missed an opportunity to watch a game with the "old rules" in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco ~ guess there is a group that plays periodically, wearing the old uniforms and using the old rules and terms. It would have been interesting ~ I regret missing that.
