No there was not an actual fire but this is an old Japanese fire truck. One of the companies we use at work has this truck in their fleet of vehicles. You can see a load of boxes in the back that they were going to go and deliver downtown

It seems to be a cross between a mini-van and a truck! Can't imagine it being able to actually fight a fire- but it does seem to be a pretty good delivery truck! Good shot!
