Life on the Farm

Yesterday we attended a funeral at our church. The lady who passed away battled a rare form of cancer for six years and this past Monday afternoon she lost that battle.
She was born and raised on a farm a couple of hours north of Edmonton. When she got married in 1961 her and her husband moved to Edmonton
They were both teachers, in fact he was my fourth grade teacher.
These barns sit on a field right next to our church and I knew they would make a perfect tribute shot in remembering her
What a lovely tribute, If she was raised on a farm I'm sure she would appreciate this super rural photo and those wonderful barns

Sad occation. You have my sympathy. Your picture reminded my of the farms around where I grew up. I wonder how they fare today? I’ll have to pay a visit.
