Restoration Project

Located in Coronation Park is the old Queen Elizabeth II Planetarium. It has been closed now for many years once the new Space and Science Centre opened.
However,it is now being restored and will be used once again. This was the first Planetarium in Canada. The City of Edmonton has taken on the restoration Project. They are working in conjunction with Telus World of Science to run programs . It will also be available to be rented for private functions. It should be open next year
I remember my first visit to a planetarium (about this size) when I was a child and how impressed I was!
