Good old advertising from the 70's - Showing my age now!
Loaded early because my other half helped me with the photo today (21st) before he went home. I sat in the bath and he dropped the alka's into the glass.. over and over again because I was too slow and kept missing the shot! He's a patient fella :-)
I tried the bath as wanted a shiny white background for reflections but think I made a bit of a mess with the flash, the curve of the bath & the circular patterns that I got as a result. Ahh well, its all a learning curve :-)
It was fun trying to make the pic and this immediately sprung to mind when I saw the new theme.. too many hangovers in my 20's!
Just saw your comment. We were in Sg at the same time I was there from 75 to 79! - the first time I lived there in fact I started school in Singapore and my little sister was born there. It has changed a lot but there are still bits - and smells!-that instantly bring back vivid memories.
So weird I was 5 in 75 and went to Tanglin Preparatory school (before it was the expensive Tanglin Trust it is now) and lived in Sophia road behind Istana near Plaza Singapura/ Yaohan Plaza. Did you go to school in Sg?
Wow! You really got a good one here! Oh, and I have enjoyed going back and forth reading about yours and Tanya's reflections of both having lived in Singapore :-)
The kiwi troups were out at Sembawang too we used to go there to visit the dental nurse in her caravan and of course for Waitangi Day celebrations.
I havent said it yet I know but Im so impressed with the splash on this- not easy to do !!
