Ha ha, I'd like to say this was done by a 6 year old or something, but alas, its my first (and only I think) rubbish attempt at making a gingerbread house! Far too much trouble for something that will go in the bin, having to melt sugar to stick things together, then royal icing to cover it.. tho it was kinda fun - once :-)
On another note, my old friend (and old boss from 10 years ago!) has joined 365 :-) http://365project.org/nickstern/profile its fab for me being able to see his photo's in LA, even though photographically am sure he'll kick my butt!
Freida you make me laugh so hard! it's rREALLY cute... not sure I would eat but I understand what you mean. Chocolote cake is the same for me... such a mess for.... oh well!!!
Not rubbish at all! it's better looking than the one my granddaughter and I made last year! I still smile at the memory of her telling me -"less talking and more working!" and hearing her mother chuckling in the next room!
Will you stop putting sweets and chocolates and cakey things in your album in full view for me to see! ... I'm going to have to go and raid the chocolate stash and I haven't had me dinner yet ...
Freida, you did awesome....this is very well done and you've way more patience than me...it looks too good to eat, I'd be proud if I could make a gingerbread house like that :)
mmm, i love gingerbread! we always make gingerbread houses with graham crackers, which probably makes it easier to put together, but not nearly as delicious
And I feel your pain - I made my first one a couple of weeks ago ... let's just say, there was lots of swearing ;)
