As we speed into the last quarter of 2019, it's time to reveal our 9th monthly theme winner for the year! This time, it's for September's "Long Exposure" theme!
Thanks again to everyone who took time to check out our 6 finalists and vote for a winner - we really appreciate how involved you guys are!
This month you guys clearly felt torn between a number of our finalists, so much so that we're excited to reveal we have a tie! So, congratulations to our two winners, @summerfield and @moonmtn!
With two beautiful representations of long-exposure photography, we're super pleased for both our talented winners!
@Summerfield really captured the hustle and bustle of a city setting, using passing traffic to create a sense of hurry and rush hour chaos. We especially love the striking contrast between the bright lights of the street car and the dark night sky.
In perfect contrast to the busy city scene, we also love @moonmtn's stunning waterfall capture. With soft and serene flowing water in the foreground and epic mountains in the background, it's easy to get a sense of being in nature and enjoying the peace and quiet of the great outdoors.
Remember, we're only halfway through October's "Seasons" theme. Just remember to get snapping, uploading and tagging before October 31st. We'll reveal the finalists within the first couple days of November!
