Oh no...not another cat picture!! Sorry, I just couldn't resist! He showed up this morning the minute I went ouside looking for something up close. I was down on the ground looking through the viewfinder at frost, leaves and other miscellaneous uninteresting stuff when he just walked up and put his face right up to the camera... must be destiny!! :) Oh well, I'll try to find something else for the up close theme later in the week that doesn't have whiskers!

This is perfect. Beautiful shot and cat. I laughed at your remarks about being on the ground, and stopping your car to take a picture of a cow. I can so relate. My neighbors can't figure out why I lay on the road to get a picture of a caterpillar. They just don't understand. LOL
@maggie2 It's true Margaret, they just don't get it do they! I was on my knees yesterday trying to get a shot of frost on the ground, my pants were all wet and dirty but that didn't matter. Luckily I live in the middle of nowhere so traffic is minimal and neighbors aren't too close by! Thanks so much for your nice comment! :)
@ellida Thank you Graham! :) It's probably my MOST favorite lens...I didn't think I'd get that much use out of it but I use it a lot. Nikon 105mm macro...it usually takes good pictures without any help from me! :)
