Haven't been by the Eagle Nest in over a month but mom & dad were on either side of it and they did not extend me a warm welcome even though I didn't even get close or get out of my car. Still no sign of little ones but their nest is so deep, who knows!
My heart would be pounding out of my chest if I could get a chance to get a photo like this. Perfect framing of this majestic bird and a stellar image.
What an incredible image! (On a far lesser scale, the mockingbirds won't let "my crows" into the yard as they're guarding a nest nearby! They're ALL quite a sight this time of year!)
