Just playing catch up so no need to comment This is the only picture I took yesterday so I'll start with this one. I'm so far behind on posting, viewing and commenting I was about to give up. I decided this morning I either had to try and catch up or let it go.
The weather was so beautiful last week, warm and sunny, but it definitely is taking a turn for the worse. Yesterday this soggy Cardinal didn't look all that happy about the wind and rain.
Paula, he's beautiful. I feel kind of bad for him with that snow sitting on his back! He probably wants spring like the rest of us. Don't worry about the commenting. We all understand completely! It would be overwhelming. Just catch your breath. :)
I LOVE cardinals. They have a special meaning in my family... this shot is beautiful!! In my house, this would be printed, framed and hung up in no time. Just beautiful!

Ah...the little bird of winter...Miss. Cardinal. This one looks like a female...The males usually have larger head feathers I think...but I'm no expert. Nice photo.

Nice shot of a cardinal. I have a difficult time getting the male cardinals to "sit" still for me. They are nervous characters for me. Very nice--subject placement, colors, soft background.
