Spent Christmas 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics in Iowa City where my mom was admitted for a severe seizure that the doctors think was probably related to a massive stroke she had in May. 2013 was a really rough year ... lots of health problems for my parents and my husband's brother. Trying to look on the bright side and hoping for a better year.
