All I could think of was that Linda Rondstadt song while trying to come up with a title. We have a little mom & pop apple orchard not to far from where we live and they had a bumper crop of apples this year...unfortunately they didn't get them all picked before the frost set in. All winter and especially around Christmas they looked so festive...it looked like ornaments hanging from all the trees. Now they're just plain rotten but for months I've been wanting to take a picture of them and now I finally did! :)
P.S. I want to thank everyone who has stopped by in the last few days to view, comment, fav & follow. I haven't been able to spend time here the past few days so I just want you to know how much I appreciate your kind words & support...because I sincerely do! Who knew rotten apples would end up getting so much attention!! :)
@hwhittle77 Sorry to be so slow to reply to your question about the D800e....it's been a crazy week! :) I just got this camera a couple of weeks ago and it's definitely overkill for my skill level but I'm hoping to grow into it. I LOVE it so far but it has forced me to sloooow down and really think about what I'm doing because there's no auto everything to fall back on with this camera. It's not a camera to grab and click away, you have to use good technique when hand holding because that sensor, good as it is, will also highlight any bad technique. If you have a camera store near you maybe you could take one out for a spin! :)
