Another picture taken this afternoon at George Wyth State Park....nobody but us out there today but it was really cold and windy so no big surprise. Yesterday was sunny and warm, today definitely felt more like winter.
This was taken with a fisheye lens and best viewed with the magnifying glass.
This is simply beautiful. Sometimes it is difficult to find beauty this time of year when the tress don't have leaves and everything is still in a dormant state. But you have captured it perfectly.
Oh my goodness! Love this shot, but what amazed me even more was that it is George Wyth! I grew up right by there and we used to go swimming there all the time!! Love it! Love your fisheye shots!
I agree with Graham...I'm thinking fisheye lens for my birthday or anniversary. Love the effect of that lens. Gorgeous photo! So interesting, too, that Wendy grew up close by to that very place and went swimming there! Such a small world. :)
I agree with you about being a small world! What are the odds!! I moved to Colorado while in Middle School in 1981, so I've been here a while! I still have lots of family back there and my Dad is in Waterloo and retired from John Deere! I love your barn shots! It really brings back great memories for me! You are an amazing photographer and love your shots! So fun to get to see a piece of Iowa through your eyes!
