I was hoping to find a clump of purple and white crocuses in the park - suffragette colours along with the green of the grass. For International Women's Day. But the purple and the white were planted separately so wouldn't work. But the daffs have started coming out nicely. Such a tonic especially as I haven't been into the office for a couple of weeks what with leave and the odd COVID scare.
Quieter day at work only marred by having to talk about coming back to the office as part of hybrid working with staff. Not all happy. But couldn't stay late as I needed to get to my Pilates lesson, second I've been to with this new class. Home for exotic mushrooms, broccoli and bagel. Quite exhausted.
3 good things
1. A chilly early spring morning in the park, the low sun shining through the daffs.
2. In the office with Jennie and more people due in from next week. Lovely to be with team members for real.
3. Feeling my joints get back into the swing of the precise moves of Pilates.
